Universal tray with screw holes
Universal boards provide a robust solution for mounting a large selection of holders. They are produced in aluminum which is stainless and anodized, and has screw holes for mounting optional holders. The board can be configured in any way you like and changed at any time. It can also be sterilized in an autoclave.

Universal tray with self-adhesive mat
The green self-adhesive mat from INFORS, “Stick Stuff”, is a solution with unbeatable flexibility. The self-adhesive mat can be loaded with all types of containers that have a plain, flat base and shaking up to 300 rpm is possible. Even containers such as microtiter plates can be shaken on self-adhesive mats at up to 220 rpm. In contrast to ordinary universal trays, there is no need to change holders when containers of different sizes are to be incubated.
The self-adhesive mat is delivered fully assembled in boards or in pieces of 200 x 200 mm and has, among other things, the following advantages:
- Very good adhesion between 16 – 60 °C.
- Easy to lift away containers at all temperatures
- Higher shaking speeds; up to 300 rpm (depending on shaking amplitude)
- Long lifetime
- Easy to clean; use only mild soapy water
- Adjustable: the mats can be removed and moved to another location
- Can even be used on universal boards with screw holes
- Disinfect with 70% ethanol
Dedicated trays
Dedicated trays are equipped with fully assembled carbon containers in only one size. They are used in those cases where only one size is used.
Unlike the universal trays, the holders cannot be replaced.
As the flask containers do not have to be placed symmetrically as on a universal tray, they can be placed optimally, which gives 10-20% higher capacity compared to universal trays.
Tray for microtiter plates
The trays can be equipped with holders for microtiter plates and/or deep well plates. There are holders for mounting plates for horizontal or angled incubation. Both types can be mixed.
To reach high speeds, between 250 and 400 rpm, weights can be fitted to achieve an optimal balancing of the shaking incubator.
For applications that require the incubation of a large number of culture plates, a shaking tray with sticks is available. These allow the plates to be loaded with several different configurations. On an M tray (Multitron tray) up to 72 deep well plates and up to 144 microtiter plates can be incubated at the same time.
A mixture of different types of plates and removal of individual plates is possible. To obtain optimal oxygen generation for the cultivations, plastic rings can be used as distance markers between the plates.
Tray with roll holders
Trays with roll holders make it possible to incubate containers of many different shapes. The holders can be fixed anywhere on the support pins and it is easy to add or remove holders.
